La Cite Forbidden was the place of residence of two great dynasties, the Ming and Qing . So great was their empire, is also exaggerated the Forbidden City. It is situated in the heart of Beijing firmly protected by a giant wall. The Forbidden City has a formal part, used for ceremonies, the general appointments, birthdays and coronations, and one side slides, or living eunuchs and concubines. The emperor has sometimes forsaken his military duties to enjoy a hedonistic life to the City, concubines or 1000, classified according to a specific order, were there for his pleasure. The forbidden city is facing a Tiananmen . Apres avoir passe Mao, on entre dans une premiere cour par la Porte de la Paix Celeste ou se trouve en bordure des jardins paisibles. La gigantesque porte "Meridienne" mene a un pont en marbre au dessus du ruisseau d'or . La porte de l'Harmonie Supreme donne sur la cour d'honneur ou avaient lieu les ceremonies imperiales. Le Hall de l'Harmonie Supreme domine cette cour, c'est le symbole officiel de l'empereur puisque c'est he sat at the top of his generals. As always, the aisle was reserved solely for the emperor. Almost all of these alleys are made of finely carved marble, representing dragons and clouds. Back is the Hall of Middle Harmony , or the Emperor was preparing before going to a show the crowd in the Hall of Supreme Harmony. A final Hall Hall of Harmony Préservatrice , complete the heart of the city. Behind it were the apartments of the emperor. It is reached by the Gate of Heavenly Purity . The heart of this city within the city consists of three halls, models of the three Halls "official", a garden, and small palace on the ratings. The three Imperial Hall called respectively Palace of Heavenly Purity , the Hall of Union and the Palace of Earthly Tranquility overlooking the imperial garden.

Our last day in Beijing, we went to the Summer Palace . The Summer Palace was the residence of the Emperor during the summer, away from the scorching heat of the Forbidden City. The Summer Palace is built around a lake. It is dominated by a majestic Buddhist Lodge built atop a hill overlooking the lake. Behind is a channel whose edges are the charming feeders Suzhou Street.
